自分に縁のある場所や身近な風景をモデルに、郷愁を呼び起こす心象風景と感傷的な女性像を描いています。

"The title of my solo exhibition is taken from a sentence in MUROO Saisei's poem “Shokei ijyo” (“Small Scenes, Different Stories”).
Using places that have a personal connection to me and familiar landscapes
as models, I depict mental landscapes that evoke nostalgia, and sentimental
images of women."

まだ傷のない季節へ向かう根を張ると腐る躰
自分の部屋に心を還して世界との心地よい隔たりに守られたとき
私はようやく1人になれる
微かな光が灯るその下で背中を丸めて眠る夜
「神のいない部屋」は22歳の私が抱える誰にも言わない事情そのものである
私たちは秘めながら生きている

I curl my back and sleep under the faint light of the room
"A Room Without God” is the very situation that I, a 22 year old, have not told anyone
We live in secrecy
